Lebanon Recreation & Parks wants to inform the community that on Friday, May 27, 2016 one of the large Linden trees in Colburn Park will be removed due to the trunk's structural integrity deteriorating.

Lebanon Recreation & Parks has been taking pro-active steps to provide more shade on Colburn Park. On Friday, April 29, 2016 a native Red Oak was planted with this goal in mind.  Pictured to the right is the new Red Oak, and the Linden that will be removed.

On Friday, May 20, 2016 Lebanon Recreation scheduled Fox Tree & Landscape Services to trim both Linden trees in order to save the trees.  Unfortunately removing the limbs that were at risk of falling confirmed the trunk of the tree is deteriorating and must come down.

As we move forward with improvements to Colburn park we want to make sure the public is aware of the efforts and thought going into the future of the park. Questions or concerns, please contact Lebanon Recreation at 603-448-5121.
